Consumer Limited Warranty
CALIFORNIA FAUCETS carry a limited warranty to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years. Finishes are warranted not to tarnish for a period of ten (10) years except for the PVD finishes which carry a lifetime warranty against tarnish. Since Uncoated Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Verde Green, Weathered Copper and Weathered Brass are unique architectural finishes intended to change over time, they are excluded from the finish warranty.
Parts made of glass, porcelain, or wood are excluded from this warranty. In addition, all finishes appearing on pop-up assemblies and drains are excluded. This warranty is void for any damages due to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation, improper care of finishes, or use of any replacement parts other than genuine CALIFORNIA FAUCETS parts. The use of any lead based acidic curing adhesive, mastic or plumbers putty will also void the finish warranty.
This warranty is made to the original consumer purchaser in the original installation and is effective from the date of purchase as shown on purchaser’s receipt. During the warranty period, CALIFORNIA FAUCETS will replace any part, which proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service. Any covered faucet part that fails during the terms of this warranty will be replaced at no charge. Replacement parts can be obtained from you local dealer or distributor or by returning the part to the factory. Transportation charges prepaid, at the address listed below.
This warranty is the exclusive warranty granted by CALIFORNIA FAUCETS and is in lieu of all other warranties of merchant ability and fitness for a particular purpose and is further limited to defective parts replacement only. Labor charges and/or damage incurred in installation, repair or replacement as well as incidental and consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion or may not apply to you.
LIFETIME WARRANTY ON CERAMIC DISK CARTRIDGE
CALIFORNIA FAUCETS ceramic disk cartridges and valve carry a lifetime-limited warranty. Should the valves in this faucet ever fail, CALIFORNIA FAUCETS will replace the failed part free of charge to the original consumer purchaser. Labor is not included. Non-ceramic cartridges & valves carry a 2-year limited warranty.
COMMERCIAL WARRANTY
CALIFORNIA FAUCETS carry a limited warranty in commercial installations to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation. All finishes are warranted not to tarnish for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation. The exception is “living finishes”; which due to their characteristic changing and aging process carry no finish warranty.
Parts made of glass, porcelain, or wood are excluded from this warranty. In addition, all finishes appearing on pop-up assemblies and drains are excluded. This warranty is void for any damages due to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation, improper care of finishes, or use of any replacement parts other than genuine CALIFORNIA FAUCETS parts.
All Widespread Faucet Ceramic Disc valves will be warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation. All other valves and cartridges will be warranted to be free from defects and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation.
This warranty is the exclusive warranty granted by CALIFORNIA FAUCETS and is in lieu of all other warranties of merchant ability and fitness for a particular purpose and is further limited to defective parts replacement only. Labor charges and/or damage incurred in installation, repair or replacement as well as incidental and consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion or may not apply to you.
