Clean Air & Climate Conservation
We produce the largest selection of decorative Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) finishes in the world. Constituting more than a half of our finishing options, PVD produces no toxic or ozone-depleting chemicals. In the manufacturing process for PVD, no hazardous waste is emitted into our air or water supply. Most recently, we made an investment in tri-valent chrome plating which is less toxic and more environmentally friendly than a traditional hex-valent finishing process.
Unlike most faucets, which are made from inferior materials such as plastic or zinc alloy that may not be recyclable. Our faucets are made from high quality solid brass. If you ever decide to change your fitting, you can recycle it.
All of our products are designed with efficiency in mind. All our kitchen and lavatory faucets flow at a rate of 1.8 GPM, going above and beyond compliance with the federally-regulated 2.2 GPM standard. For all of our showerhead and handshower products, each can be fitted with flow restrictors that reduce water waste by up to 40%.
Our products are manufactured to help buildings meet the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) requirements. Our low water flow products help projects obtain valuable LEED points, which help to promote and encourage environmentally sustainable construction.
In our home state of California, we have the country’s most stringent water conservation standards. Among our innovations, StyleTherm® is the first thermostatic shower line to offer valves in compliance with California Green Building Standards Code (CALGreen). StyleTherm offers the superior benefits of volume control, anti-scald protection, and precision water temperature settings.
