What is the warranty?

A limited lifetime warranty is provided on all mechanical parts to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage. Ceramic disc cartridges carry a limited lifetime warranty, and cartridges for diverters, thermostatic and pressure balance showers are warranted for three (3) years from date of purchase. Further, each item has it's own warranty terms based on finish. Please see our warranty page for more detail.

What is the lead time for an order?

Nearly everything we offer is individually built to order, by hand, in our Huntington Beach factory, and then finished and tested for quality. Each finish requires its own specialized process, so lead time estimates can vary anywhere from one day to several weeks depending on the length of the finishing process, where we are in the finishing schedule, and availability of parts on-hand. Contact your salesperson or our customer service department for a personalized estimate on your order.

Technical

How do I clean my faucet?

To prevent water-spotting and mineral build-up, wipe your faucet or fitting dry after each use with a soft dry cloth. Each finish has its own care recommendations. Please see our finish care page for detailed information.

Why is my spout or showerhead dripping?

A dripping spout or showerhead may indicate the cartridge needs to be replaced. Please reach out to our customer service to find out which type of cartridge you need.

How do I get rid of limescale from my shower head that affects water flow?

Proper removal of residue on shower head face plates, depends on the material of the face plate.

If the shower head has a finished, metal face plate, a soft cloth with warm water will be enough to scrub off mineral deposits. A bamboo skewer or wooden toothpick can be used to carefully dislodge debris from the nozzles.

A plastic face plate with rubber nozzles is usually resistant to mineral build-up, but if some scale does build-up, rub the face plate with a damp cloth. This will also dislodge any debris inside the rubber nozzles.

How do I clean my ZeroDrain?

Will my product meet code?

Most of our products are designed with various codes in mind. See our code approvals page for specific information. Since local codes can vary, we provide product specifications where possible, so you can check with your local agencies for the products you're purchasing.

What is Proposition 65?

In 1986, California voters passed the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, often referred to as Proposition 65. This legislation requires businesses to provide a “clear and reasonable warning” before exposing anyone to a listed chemical that California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) determines to be a carcinogen or a reproductive toxicant.

Because California Faucets’ products are sold nationwide, we are required to label all products to ensure any sold to California residents contain the compulsory warning.

All California Faucets products meet or exceed the requirements of the federal Safe Drinking Water Act in addition to applicable product performance and industry safety standards. We are confident that there are no consequential health hazards associated with our products.
