Their new traditionally styled ultra-thin showerhead features familiar shapes traditional style enthusiasts will appreciate, but in a super-slim, 1-inch-thin design. The new option adds a touch of elegance to today’s spa-inspired baths while giving designers, architects, and homeowners even more choices for creating luxuriously personalized spaces.

Made of solid brass, new ultra-slim traditional showerheads replace old-school “raincan” showerheads and blend beautifully with both classic and transitional décor themes. Homeowners will appreciate the addition of self-cleaning rubber jets, which make the ultra-slim traditional showerhead a breeze to maintain.

Like all California Faucets products, the new ultra-thin traditional showerhead is available in a selection of 25-plus artisan finishes—including 15 PVD finishes with a lifetime warranty against tarnishing. Characterized by its unique octagon shape, Doheny calls to mind the historical architecture of castles, monuments, and cathedrals, as well as more recent Art Deco and Mid-Century designs. A striking band detail around Doheny’s handle adds depth and texture while offering designers and homeowners the option of creating a split-finish look. But the freedom to customize doesn’t stop there. With 25-plus artisan finishes to choose from, the possible color combinations are endless.

“Memories of playing with building blocks as a child inspired Doheny,” says Grubb. “I’ve always been fascinated with bold shapes and as I’ve traveled the world, I’ve noticed how geometric forms like the octagon are found in notable architecture throughout history, right up to today,” Grubb adds, noting the octagon shape is highly valued in Feng Shui since it’s believed to balance energy and prosperity.

The Doheny Series features two distinctive handle designs. Both block and lever styles reflect octagonal shapes and allow for a mix of finish combinations, if desired.
